I love my wintertime drinks—hot coffee, cocoa, teas—you name it! But sometimes I also want something cold and a little more refreshing. As we get ready to shake the winter energy off, this citrus spritzer is all about bringing renewal.
The revitalizing citrus of this winter mocktail brings some positivity and excitement as you get ready to tackle those household chores and emerge from your wintertime cocoon.
As always, I tested both mocktail and cocktail options so everyone can sip in the magic!
This winter mocktail came together for an instagram sponsorship I did with WeStock. While WeStock did not sponsor a blog post, I love to share my favorite recipes to my blog.
And you’ll probably be hearing more about them from me, because I often get asked where to get products. WeStock lets you request the brands you want at your local stores and also has a rebate program to get reimbursed for purchases. I got the Jarritos from a rebate they were offering at the time.

Winter Citrus Spritzer – A Winter Mocktail & Citrus Spritzer
Ingredients
- 3-4 slices pear I cut a pear quarter into slices
- 1-2 sprigs thyme
- 1/4 tsp ground Cardamom
- 1/2 ounce maple
- 1 ounce lemon freshly juiced
- 2 ounce Natural Grapefruit Soda I used Jarritos
- 1.5 ounce clear spirit of choice optional
Instructions
- Place pear, cardamom, thyme, and maple in a cocktail shaker. Muddle the ingredients together, breaking down the pear and expressing the thyme into the maple.
- Add freshly juiced lemon and ice. If you wish, you can add a clear spirit of your choice (nonalcoholic like Lyres, or alcoholic for cocktail enjoyers). Shake.
- Strain over crushed ice into desired glass (I shaved my ice down by putting it into a blender). Top with 2 ounces of natural grapefruit soda.
- Garnish with a full pear slice and thyme sprig.
