Cook Time 3 minutes
Servings: 1 person
Course: Drinks

Ingredients

  • 2-3 strips lime peel (use the lime you will juice for the recipe)
  • 4 drops non-alcoholic orange bitters or 2-3 strips orange peel*
  • 1 ounce Honey syrup (1:1 ratio honey to hot water*, see notes)
  • 1.5 ounces Lime juice (freshly juiced)
  • 3 ounces ginger beer
Optional Additions

Equipment

  • 1 Jigger or convert to tablespoons and use tablespoon measurer (1 tbsp = .5 ounces)

Method

  1. To your cup, add peels and orange bitters (if using). Pour in soothing, solar honey and lightly muddle the peels to express the oils in the rind.
  2. Squeeze in fresh lime, cleansing away any unwanted energy or vibrations. Add in optional orange juice or nonalcoholic orange sec, if using.
  3. Add ice and pour in ginger beer. Stir. Adjust lime, honey or ginger beer to taste.
  4. Garnish with your choice of: lime or orange peel spritz, or solar flower like chamomile or calendula. If using orange blossom or flower water, spritz the top after adding garnish for a magical aroma.

Notes

*Honey syrup is equal parts honey to hot water water, measured separately and then mixed. To use an alternative sweetener of your choice, start with less and add more to the recipe to taste.
