Midnight Wine Margarita

With rosemary, lavender, and coconut, this isn’t just any wine margarita. Inspired by Practical Magic, this recipe mixes wine, margarita and film inspired ingredients for a recipe that’s pure magic with every sip.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 sprigs rosemary
  • 1 ounce coconut water
  • 1 ounce lime
  • ¾ ounce agave
  • 3 ounces Phantom Wine Chardonnay 2 ounces if blending*
  • 1 ounce Blanco Tequila
  • ½ ounce orange liqueur optional*
  • 6 drops lavender bitters optional
  • Lavender or rosemary sprig for garnish

Method
 

  1. Optional: Rim glass with salt.
  2. In your shaker, add rosemary, coconut water, then lime. Sweeten with agave nectar/syrup.
  3. Add Phantom Wine Chardonnay and tequila, then lavender and orange liqueur if using.
  4. Add ice and shake.
  5. Strain over ice into your prepared glass. Garnish with your choice of rosemary or lavender sprig to enchant your senses with each sip.

Notes

Orange Liqueur: Triple sec also works as an orange liqueur; just note that it may make the recipe sweeter.
Blended Margarita: Prefer blended margaritas to shaken? Do 2 ounces chardonnay instead of 3 and blend with 1 cup ice.
