Fire Witch Cocktail & Mocktail
A lime, sage, agave and cranberry fiery drink recipe aligned to the element of fire. Originally inspired by Agatha All Along Episode 4, this Fire Witch Cocktail & Mocktail has ingredients for the fire element for cleansing & passion. Includes modifications for cocktail, mocktail with nonalcoholic spirits, and mocktail recipe without nonalcoholic spirits.
Base Recipe
- 2 slices ginger fresh
- 3 leaves sage
- 1/8 tsp Ground Cayenne
- 1 slice orange peel (optional flamed--see demo)
- .5-.75 ounce agave adjust for sweetness preference
- .75 ounce lime freshly juiced
- 1.5 ounce cranberry juice
- black salt for garnish
- 1 sprig sage leaves for garnish, optional to smoke
For Cocktail
- 1.5 ounce tequila anejo preferably, but any will do
- .5 ounce orange liqueur optional
For Mocktail (With Nonalcoholic Spirits)
For Mocktail (Without Nonalcoholic Spirits)
- 1.5 ounce soda water added last, after shaking
- .5 ounce orange juice optional
Muddle ginger, sage, agave and orange peel in a shaker.
Add agave, lime, cranberry juice, tequila or tequila sub, and optional orange liqueur sub or juice, and ice. Shake.
Strain into glass rimmed with black salt with ice. Garnish with sage.
